Elon Musk and his merry gang of revolutionary innovators has come up with their next product- the Model 3. Tesla is known around the world to change the world all while making a profit and is known to be a legendary company. Elon Musk- the notorious CEO of Tesla, has introduced multiple vehicles in the last couple of years and it seems like, after releasing one amazing product, they have two more to follow which will be better than the first! Tesla’s first car, the Tesla Roadster, was a ground-breaking entrance for Tesla back in 2009. This car could go 245 miles in one charge and astounded audiences everywhere. This began to increase Tesla’s fame as one of the greatest electric car companies until the release of the Model S. This car is like looking at the future, today. The Model S features specifications that no other car in the world can boast. Capable of going from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, there used to be no other car like it, until the Model X.
Seriously, how does Tesla do it? Tesla’s first crossover SUV vehicle works as good as a sports car and presents extreme performance and sustainability at the same time. This car is capable of going from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds, beating its predecessor, the Model S. Also featured are the stylish Falcon Wings, which provide practicality. The Falcon Wings allow you to enter the car easily without scrunching up and tumbling into the rear seats.
In all of these cars, Tesla offers two types of batteries with different capabilities- the 60 kWh battery and the 85 kWh battery. Though the 85 kWh battery allows faster charging and longer range, the batteries both provide excellent range as they can sustain over 200 miles per charge. People ask, “won’t the car take up too much electricity to charge? That will cost a lot of money.” With Tesla’s new Superchargers, that is not the case. The company has begun to install and create new Supercharger locations around the country that allow Tesla owners to charge up their car using the energy from the solar panels above the charging location. This means free charging for as many times as you need it. Tesla has installed 102 stations across North America to date and is planning to add many more across the country and around the world by 2015. Along with free charging, these stations allow the cars to be charged up to 80% in only 40 minutes!
Free charging, better mileage, stylish design, and extreme performance is presented in all of Tesla’s cars and now it seems like they have more to offer. Instead of charging upwards of $90,000 a car, the company has begun to produce the more affordable Tesla 3, even before all the Tesla X’s have been delivered! The Tesla 3 will be offered for $35,000 and have everything a great Tesla car has, for a cheaper price. This company continues to astound the world with its innovative and revolutionary ideas and it doesn’t seem like it will stop soon. Let’s see what else Elon Musk and Tesla have to offer us next.
